Richard is a TV presenter of music films on the BBC's flagship programme, The One Show.

Richard has worked with The One Show for over 6 years.  He has completed an amazing array of musical challenges, told a range of fascinating stories, and interviewed a host of musical luminaries.  In his time to date, he's pushed a piano up Ben Nevis, composed music for the International Space Station and played Henry VIII's "Greensleeves" on the Mary Rose.  Richard has drummed with Dire Straits, and interviewed Tommy Iommi (Black Sabbath), Graham Gouldman (10CC), songwriters Mike Batt and Roger Greenaway, and producers William Orbit and Steve Levine.  Richard has performed live in the studio with Hugh Laurie and Tom Odell. Behind the camera he's directed Bucks Fizz and Brotherhood of Man, and MD'd 15 Elvis impersonators, including Vernon Kay!!  Richard is also a regular contributor to the Jeremy Vine Show on Radio 2, and is currently co-host on Anna Ryder Richardson's BBC Radio Wales Sunday Morning Show.  He is signed to the One Tribe Talent Agency.

Richard has worked on radio, including guest appearances on Jeremy Vine's BBC Radio 2 lunchtime show, and a recent 11-week-run on BBC Radio Wales, guest presenting Sunday morning show  alongside celebrity Anna Ryder Richardson.  On the show, he performed Welsh/American mash-ups, recorded a Kylie tribute with the Maesteg Male Voice Choir, and rearranged the BBC Radio Wales jingle in a Chinese style.  He also ate chocolate-covered locusts and smashed up a set of sleigh bells with a hammer, amongst other things!  He is signed to the One Tribe Talent Agency.
